That certain code entitled the International Energy Conservation Code, 2018 Edition, is hereby adopted as the Energy Code of the Town of Clarkdale and made a part of this chapter the same as though said code was specifically set forth herein, with the following changes:

A. Section 101.1, Title. Omit [NAME OF JURISDICTION] and substitute the following: “Clarkdale, Arizona”.

B. Table 402.1.1, Insulation and Fenestration Requirements by Component in Climate Zone 3. Ceiling R-value, omit “30,” and substitute the following: “38.” In the Wood Frame Wall R-Value, omit “13,” and substitute the following: “19.”

EXISTING BUILDINGS – TABLE A

The 2018 International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code (IFC) and the International Residential Code (IRC) as adopted and amended by the Town of Clarkdale, specifies where automatic fire suppression is required. Table A shall be used to determine fire suppression requirements in existing structures when a change of use occurs.
