Section 15-1-6 Street Cuts in New Pavement

Permits will not be granted for roadway pavement cuts within Town rights-of-way on any bituminous or concrete pavement structures that are overlaid after December 12, 1995, or are less than five (5) years of age, except as follows:
A. As approved by the Town Public Works Department on a case-by-case basis upon demonstrating a hardship exists, and no reasonable alternative other than making the roadway pavement cut exists.
B. In the event of an actual emergency threatening public health and safety. [Prior code § 15-1-6.]
