A. An application for a license under this article shall be made on forms furnished by the Clerk. Every application shall be accompanied by an application fee in the amount provided in the current Fee Schedule. In the event a license is not issued, the application fee shall not be returned to the applicant but shall be applied to cover the cost of processing the application.

B. The Clerk shall have the power to refuse to issue a license for any of the following causes:

1. Fraud, misrepresentation or a false statement made in the course of applying for the license.

2. Conviction of any crime or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude within the last ten (10) years.

3. Three (3) violations of this article within any three (3) year period. [Prior code § 8-4-5.]
