A. The Mayor, upon his/her own motion, or the Clerk upon the request of three (3) members, may convene the Council at any time by notifying the members of the date, hour and purpose of such special meeting. Notice of such meeting shall be made pursuant to State law. In the case of an actual emergency, a meeting may be held upon such notice as is appropriate to the circumstances.

B. Additionally, a special meeting of the Council may be scheduled by the Mayor, or by majority vote of the Council. [Prior code § 2-4-2.]
