A. The minimum size for all municipal distribution system water lines in the Town of Clarkdale is eight (8) inches. Larger water lines may be required depending on the design and engineering for particular projects. The ultimate sizing of water lines connected to the public water system is subject to the Town’s review and approval.

B. If the Town requires that a water line be oversized in order to meet demands outside a particular project’s needs, the Town may pay for the cost difference between the minimum size required for the project and the size that the Town requires. In cases where the Town will pay for oversizing of a water line, the Town and the developer/owner shall enter into an agreement that sets forth the proportionate costs to be paid by the Town and by the owner.

C. Any private water lines tying into the Town municipal water system must be a minimum of eight (8) inches and be installed according to Town Standards in order for the private water line to be considered for acceptance by the Town as an extension of its municipal water system.
