No sewer connection connecting the Town sanitary sewer system to any consumer shall be made or used by any person except upon written application furnished to the Town by the owner, or his/her authorized agent, of the premises to which sanitary sewer service is to be furnished. An initial sewer connection fee shall be required in addition to a quarterly rental charge for such sanitary sewer connection according to the rates fixed by the Town until the service is discontinued by order of the Sanitation Department or written order of the owner or his/her authorized agent. A charge shall be made for replication of service to an existing connection. The initial sewer connection fee is nonrefundable. [Prior code § 11-2-1.]
